^ The whole concept is to conserve the colonial architecture element of black and white and adding on the Singapore's multi cultural element to the interior design.

ENTRANCE

"Connection Between Indoor & Outdoor"

^From the main entrance the guests will be welcomed by the grand stairscase that leads them to the most bustling and iconic place of this area, which is the bazaar. Besides that, the void from the top and bottom has allowed the connection of the other block and the greenery to blend in together in one view.

LOUNGE

"Indulged At The Tropical In 1850s"

^This area is located on the left side of the guests, once they entered from the main entrance. The purpose of this area can be served as a waiting lounge for guests who are waiting to check-in or guests coming for a drink from the bar at side of this lounge sofa.

SOCIAL SPACES

"Exchanging Ideas and Experiences Through Interaction"

^ A gathering point for everyone to chill and chit-chat . Also, a place to enjoy night movie at the outdoor settings.

^ A outdoor settings dining area where the guests can have a closer experience with the nostalgic greenery. The stairs allowed the guests to access to the indoor dining area at the lower level while the upper level is where all the rooms located at.

WORKSHOPS

"Learning Is A Never Ending Process"

^ The workshops is located at the single-storey block (16A), There are two workshops going on at this block, the cooking workshop and an art and craft workshop. Both of them are interconnected. The guests can access from each of the workshop to another via the perforated patterned sliding door.
